Athlete Participation Agreement

Eligibility, Conduct & Media Consent

This agreement applies to all athletes applying to participate in CombatGames tournaments and events.

By submitting an application or participating in a CombatGames event, the athlete confirms acceptance of the terms outlined below.

1. Eligibility to Participate

Athletes applying to CombatGames events confirm that:

• they are at least 18 years of age, unless special youth divisions are explicitly approved by the organizer

• they are medically fit to compete

• they possess appropriate training and experience in the discipline they apply for

• they accept the physical risks associated with combat sports competition

CombatGames reserves the right to request medical documentation when necessary.

The organizer may decline participation if safety concerns arise.

2. Application & Selection Process

Submitting an application does not guarantee participation in the event.

Participation depends on:

• matchmaking suitability

• weight and skill alignment

• event structure

• athlete availability

• organizer discretion

CombatGames reserves the right to:

• accept or reject applications

• adjust matchups

• replace athletes if necessary

3. Code of Conduct

All athletes are expected to uphold the values of CombatGames.

Participants must demonstrate:

• respect toward opponents

• respect toward referees and officials

• respect toward the audience and supporters

• professional behavior before, during, and after the event

The following may result in penalties or removal from the event:

• unsportsmanlike conduct

• threatening or abusive behavior

• deliberate rule violations

• attempts to manipulate results

CombatGames promotes respect-first competition culture.

4. Health & Medical Responsibility

Athletes confirm that:

• they participate voluntarily

• they understand the physical risks of combat sports

• they assume responsibility for injuries sustained during competition

The event organizer and platform are not liable for injuries resulting from competition.

A ringside physician has the authority to stop a bout for medical reasons.

5. Weight & Competition Requirements

Athletes must:

• attend official weigh-ins

• meet the designated weight class or agreed catchweight

• comply with equipment requirements

Failure to meet these requirements may result in:

• bout cancellation

• opponent replacement

• financial penalties where applicable.

6. Media, Image & Content Rights

CombatGames events are recorded and may be broadcast globally.

By participating, athletes grant CombatGames the right to:

• record video and photography of their participation

• livestream matches

• publish event footage on digital platforms

• use athlete images for promotion, marketing, and documentation of events

These rights apply worldwide and without time limitation.

7. Athlete Wallet & Support Contributions

CombatGames may provide athletes with individual digital wallet addresses for supporter contributions.

Athletes acknowledge that:

• supporter contributions are voluntary

• contributions may form part of the athlete’s competition purse depending on event rules

• the platform facilitates visibility and transparency of contributions but does not guarantee a minimum amount.

Purse distribution rules are defined in the event documentation.

8. Event Changes & Cancellation

CombatGames reserves the right to modify event details when necessary.

This may include:

• changes to the fight card

• match replacements

• schedule adjustments

• venue changes

• event postponement or cancellation

Such changes may occur without prior notification.

9. Compliance With Local Regulations

CombatGames events may operate in different countries.

Athletes agree to comply with:

• local laws

• visa requirements

• travel documentation requirements

• health and safety regulations of the host country.

10. Final Authority

The event organizer holds final authority over:

• athlete participation

• matchmaking decisions

• rule interpretation

• disciplinary actions

• event structure.

All decisions made by the organizer or designated officials are final.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an application or participating in a CombatGames event, the athlete confirms that they:

• have read and understood the competition rules

• accept the athlete participation agreement

• agree to follow all event regulations.

Participation constitutes full acceptance of these terms.
